ORIGIN is a project by United Visual Artists, with music from Scanner. Located in the Tobacco Warehouse in DUMBO, Brooklyn, Origin is a year-long-project from The Studio. It originated with the redesign of Coachella’s main stage. The 30-foot audio-visual cubic lattice of metal structure and strips of LED lights create numerous graphics of white, red, or blue moving mass of lights.

It’s a very visually interesting art piece. Not only is it interactive, where the spectators can walk in and around the massive volume. There’s definitely a palpable sense of intense energy from this cube of blinking lights, radiating outwards and enlivening its context, which are these old brick walls with arched openings. Nighttime is the perfect time to observe this art piece, and it’s even more perfect with Justice playing in the room adjacent to it, making this the ultimate outdoor club space, where one can just dance dance dance into the night.
